The Coffman Morris design group is Jonathan Morris and Faith Coffman, a father/daughter landscaping team. Based in the Los Angeles area, Jonathan and Faith have 30 combined years of experience in landscape design and installation.

Coffman
This mother of two, raised right here in Los Angeles, is likely
to be the first person you talk to when you call us. She is our project manager,
she has an eye for style, and her smile is infectious! A plant enthusiast
and garden artist, she is able to discuss a wide variety of attractive options
for your home and garden.
Jonathan
Morris
Jonathan grew up in Los Angeles also. He is the father of five and grandfather
of ten! He is the staff consultant and main designer. He designs with finesse
and has a great sense of use and flow of space. While his formal designs are
unique hand-watercolored pieces, he can also sketch a workable design for
you onsite within minutes. He is a fully licensed landscape contractor, with
experience in hard and softscape design.

Design Philosophy
The Coffman Morris Landscape Design philosophy is to create a garden compatible
with your architecture, taking into account your geographic location (beach,
inland, shade, sun), that will add lasting value to your property. To get
the most longevity we use 90% trees, shrubs, and perrenials, instead of short-lived
annuals or high maintenance plants. We have considerable experience in creatively
using drought-resistant plants to beautify hot, dry areas. Alternatively,
in shady, moist areas, our tropical designs bring life and color to your landscape.
Our designs are typically traditional and clean, but can be bold and exotic
depending on your taste. We design artfully, but don't allow flashiness or
showiness to get in the way of an elegant, useful design.
